Planar PX2710MW 27" 1080p monitor

Computer monitors are much like any other piece of technology: they range in price and quality from bottom-of-the-barrel junk to professional pieces that cost 10x as much and have a set of features and benefits that lesser models lack.
    Planar’s PX2710MW uses a 27-inch TN LCD panel running at 1920×1080.
While TN panels are not known for their colors or viewing angles like a pricey IPS panel, not all TNs are bad and the hundreds of user reviews on the PX2710MW paint a good picture.
I particularly like the 1080p resolution for hooking up a game console, allowing this monitor to double as your PC display and Xbox/PS3 screen.
Planar PX2710MW - backOn that note, the PX2710MW will connect to about any system you have thanks to VGA, HDMI, and DVI-D (with HDCP) inputs.
The stand isn’t very adjustable, but it does support a standard 100mm VESA mount, letting you choose your own mounting solution if so desired.
This means that Planar covers all shipping costs via two-day air and will send you a replacement monitor first, without you having to wait on them receiving your original display.
